Agnetha faltskog is primarily known for her role as a Swedish soloist. She will forever be remembered for her role as a one of the original members of ABBA one of the world's most popular and successful commercial pop group. At the age of 15, she quit school to explore a career in music She soon discovered herself singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt and gained a cult following. Enghardt signed her to a record deal and soon made it to the highest spot on Sweden's charts, by releasing her debut single. Bjorn became her spouse and they joined ABBA. ABBA was one of most popular pop bands across the globe during the eight-year period. They won the gold and platinum awards throughout the world. Three albums were released following ABBA which included 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me, Eyes of a Woman,' and I Stand Alone,' they were all extremely popular in Sweden in addition to gaining fame in Europe and the U.K., however, not so in the U.S. ABBA music was the inspiration for a jukebox-musical called Mamma Mia!.
