Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's massive Fantasy "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea a resort in Essex and was attracted to the performing arts from a young age. Nathalie started taking singing, acting, and dance lessons at when she was just 3. Parents were instantly delighted. Emmanuel developed quickly as a actor and, by the time she reached her late teens, she had portrayed the character of Nala for"The Lion King," a West End show of the acclaimed show "The Aristocrat." At the age of an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for film and TV roles. The first time she was noticed was 2007, when she was chosen to play Sasha Valentine, a British soap opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95-). Emmanuel performed the role for a period of four years, before quitting Hollyoaks in the year 2010. Emmanuel's breakthrough moment came three years later when she was cast as Missandei in the role of interpreter for Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Emmanuel went on to reprise her role in every subsequent season of "Game of Thrones" up to the season's finale on May 19, 2019.
